On Jordanna Porter…
"She played well and she expanded her game, not just in threes but she can get to the rim. We've challenged her with defending and getting those rebounds on the backside so I think she's really taken into that and showed up early and ready to go today."
On the game...
"We knew if we could come out and really have a focus on stopping them defensively because they like to go up and down. You saw how they shot the threes, and so we knew we were going to have to stop that. I felt that if we did that we would get transition, we would get some stuff in the paint and that was obviously where we could score."
On the way her team played…
"I'm proud of the kids, proud of how we shared the ball tonight, proud of running some stuff and fine tuning some things so we can go in and play a good Santa Clara."
On elementary day…
"It was great, that was the first time we had done that. Third, fourth and fifth grade here. Next year we're going to be even bigger. It would be nice to have three, four, and five schools here. We had almost 400 kids from one school alone so I'm really excited about that. Really grateful and it's so fun to see the kids and their excitement, it's so special to us."
Jordanna Porter, Sr., Forward
On the game...
"That's really one of the best games to play when it's up tempo"
On the contrasting styles of play…
"It's good that we just played our game and we didn't run up and down the court with them, and we did more than they did."
On her getting a double-double...
"I couldn't have gotten the double-double without my team, without the pass and without getting the rebounds, I couldn't do it without my team."
Looking ahead…
"We're knowing each other better, our chemistry is getting better. Without our chemistry, knowing what each person can do, and knowing who each person is, knowing our personnel for each person, we wouldn't be as successful as we are."
