The Diamond 'Dogs won their sixth straight game on Tuesday with a 11-3 victory over Pacific at Pete Beiden Field at Bob Bennett Stadium smacking a season-high 16 hits.
Fresno State (25-12), winners of 10 of its last 11 games, collected a season-high 16 hits with six Bulldogs notching multi-hit contests. Senior center fielder Zach Ashford tallied a team-leading three hits, collecting his seventh double of the season, and added two runs and two RBI.

Redshirt sophomore JT Arruda added two singles, a RBI and two runs scored while first baseman Zach Presno tacked on two singles and two runs scored.
On the mound, sophomore right-hander Jamison Hill made his fourth start of the season throwing two innings allowing three hits, one earned run, and added a strikeout. Five relievers saw action with redshirt sophomore left-hander Tiegen Jones picking up his first win of the season with two shutout innings holding the Tigers to two hits with one strikeout.
How It Happened
For the eighth consecutive game, the 'Dogs wasted no time and scored in the first inning plating two runs on a two-run RBI single through the left by Dempsey (watch) as the senior continued his hot hitting.
With Pacific (21-19) cutting the lead in half with a run in the top of the second, Fresno State answered right back with four runs in the bottom of the frame sending eight hitters to the plate. Ashford got the scoring started with an RBI double to right-center (watch) and Bins followed with a liner down the left field line for a double (watch) bringing around Ashford for a 4-1 lead.
With Arruda getting hit by a pitch to put a pair of 'Dogs on base, Dempsey again came up big with a two-out single up the middle (watch) driving in both Bins and Arruda to extend the 'Dogs lead to 6-1.
Again the Tigers answered back with a run in the top of the third, but Pacific pitching proved little resistance in the early going as the Bulldogs again answered back with four runs in the bottom of the third.
With eight 'Dogs again coming up to the plate, Ashford got the scoring started with his second RBI of the game singling down the left field line on a ball that bounced off the left field wall scoring right fielder Miles Tomczak from second base.
Presno tacked on a run on a passed ball for a six-run lead and Arruda hit a single up the middle plating Ashford to make it 9-2. The scoring was rounded out by a sacrifice fly to right field by Tatum for a 10-2 advantage.
The Tigers added a run in the top of the eighth, but Tatum's home run to left field (watch) to lead off the bottom half of the frame gave the 'Dogs their final score of the game.
