Given the oddity of this season's scheduling format, Fresno State has had the opportunity to quickly learn from mistakes against opponents, fix them and adjust during a quick turnaround. The Bulldogs have dropped Game 1 in three series this year but have turned around on short rest to pick up wins in Game 2.Â
- Fresno State picked up a four-point win over Colorado State a day after a six-point defeat.
- The Bulldogs defeated Wyoming by three in overtime after a two-point loss at the buzzer two days earlier.
- Last week, the 'Dogs followed a two-point loss in the final seconds to New Mexico with 22-point win two days later.

Fresno State has played in four conference games decided by three points or less, going 2-2 in those contests. Aside from the Bulldogs, only Boise State has had multiple games decided by three points or less (1-1).

Averaging 80.2 points per game thus far, the Bulldogs' offense is scoring 4.1 points better than a year ago when they posted a second-highest season average in program history (76.1).
- Entering this season, Jaime White's teams have recorded at least 90 points in a game six times with three of those coming in 2019-20. This year, the 'Dogs have reached 90 points five times this season.
- Fresno State ranks 23rd nationally in scoring offense (80.2) and is shooting at a 46.2 percent clip which ranks 24th in the NCAA.

The Bulldogs have done well in the past about not fouling but this season they have taken it to another level. Fresno State ranks 10th nationally in personal fouls per game, committing just 13.3 per contest.
 - The 'Dogs have committed 50 less fouls than its opponents. That has resulted in Fresno State attempting 83 more free throws than than its opponents.

In recent weeks, Fresno State has seen a drastic increase in its shooting efficiency from long range. Shooting above 40 percent in four of their last six games, the Bulldogs sit second in the league at 36.0 percent behind Colorado State.
- In league play, the 'Dogs are leading the pack at 39.5 percent.
- The increase in percentage has come from the emergence of Kendyll Kinzer and Bree Delaney who have been locked-in during league play. The two have combined to shoot 56.3 percent from deep in conference games and a blistering 65.7 percent during their last four outings.
- Last weekend, Kinzer shot a career-high 6-of-7 in Game 1 versus New Mexico while Delaney shot 4-of-5 in Game 2.

Averaging a combined 36.8 points per game, Haley Cavinder and Hanna Cavinder rank among the nation's best scoring duos. Throughout the first half of the of the season, the Bulldogs have been led in the scoring column by Haley (19.5 ppg) and Hanna (17.3 ppg) who rank first and second in the MW. The two have combined to score at least 38 points in seven games, helping the 'Dogs to a 5-2 record in those contests.
- They are one of 12 sets of teammates nationally who average more than 17.0 ppg.
- The two rank among the top 20 nationally among the top scoring duos.
- The two have combined to go for 40-plus on six occasions, and are 4-2 in such games.
- Fresno State is 4-3 when the duo scores below 35 points.

As a freshman, Haley Cavinder led the Bulldogs in scoring at 16.0 points per game. She is doing the same again but has increased that average to a league-leading 19.5 points per game.
- Cavinder is averaging 20.6 points per game in conference play, 3.6 points clear of the second-highest average.
- Cavinder is also leading the team in assists (3.7 apg) and rebounding (8.1 rpg).
