Bulldogs' win streak halted at New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Fresno State had its 10-game win streak snapped after a loss to New Mexico on Thursday afternoon. The Bulldogs fell to the Lobos 4-1 in their second conference matchup, leaving their overall record at 12-3 overall (1-1 MW).
How It Happened
Doubles
New Mexico took the doubles point to open the match, with its first win coming at the No. 2 spot against Aleksandr Myagkov and Angus Bradshaw, 6-2.
The Lobos sealed the point with a win at the No. 1 spot, where the No. 59 ranked duo of Dominic West and Sergio Molina took down the Bulldogs' pair of Dario Huber and Reece Falck, 6-3.
Singles
After taking the doubles point, New Mexico got a quick start in singles play, winning its matchup at the No. 5 spot with Molina defeating Falck 6-2, 6-1.
The Lobos claimed the next singles point with another victory at the No. 1 spot 7-5, 6-3.
Bradshaw earned the Bulldogs' only point in the match with a win at the No. 3 spot 6-2, 1-6, 6-3. New Mexico sealed its victory after taking the No. 6 spot with Jake Trondson defeating Alexey Aleschev 7-6, 6-4.
