LIMITING MISCUES
With eight games of 10 turnovers or less, Fresno State sits comfortably in the nation's Top 10 in turnovers per game at No. 6, committing 11.6 per contest. The 'Dogs finished each of the last two seasons ranked inside the Top 20 with a high of 16th.
The charity stripe has been kind to the Bulldogs this season when they have gotten there. The 'Dogs have shot below 70 percent from the line just twice in 21 games while shooting at least 80 percent nine times. Fresno State ranks 23rd in the NCAA in free-throw percentage at 76.8, second in the MW.
Haley Cavinder has had her hand in everything that the Bulldogs have done. The 5-foot-6 point guard is averaging 19.5 points, 10.0 rebounds and in 5.0 assists per game. The Bulldog sits first in scoring, rebounding, double-doubles (12) and free throw percentage (.986) in the MW and second in assists (5.8).

THE BREAKDOWN
- Fresno State is set to play a grueling stretch of the four games in eight days with the first three occurring within five days.
- All three games within the next five days are against teams currently in the Top 4 of the Mountain West standings.
- Wyoming is the only Mountain West opponent that Fresno State has yet to play. The two will only play once as their previous contest on Jan. 9 was postponed.
- Nearly all of Fresno State's wins have come when scoring at least 70 points. Prior to their most recent win (62-56 at Boise State), the 'Dogs had scored at least 70 points in their previous eight wins (8-3).
- The Bulldogs have held three-straight opponents below 41 percent shooting for the first time this season.
- Fresno State ranks No. 6Â nationally in turnovers per game, committing just 11.6Â per game.
- The Bulldogs rank in the Top 30 nationally in free throw percentage (23rd - 76.8%) and 3-point percentage (26th – 35.8%)
- Haley Cavinder is the only player in the only player in the country to rank in the Top 40 in points (19.5), rebounds (10.0) and assists (5.8) per game.
- Cavinder has recorded a double-double in eight of 10 conference games. Her 12 double-doubles rank 18th nationally.

SCOUTING NEVADA
- Wyoming (10-10, 6-5) enters Saturday's contest sitting fourth in the Mountain West standings, a half game ahead of Fresno State and mere percentage points ahead of Air Force.
- The Cowgirls are coming off back-to-back wins, the first which came on a 3-pointer at the buzzer in New Mexico, snapping the Lobos double-digit home win streak.
- The road win was just Wyoming's third of the year and second in conference play after dropping its previous four games away from home in league play.
- The Cowgirls rank eighth in the MW in scoring at 62.0 points per game while holding opponents to the second-lowest average at 58.6 per game.
- UW is shooting 39.3 percent from the field and 28.3 percent from 3.
- McKinley Bradshaw is Cowgirls' top scorer at 14.3 points per game. She has been slightly better in conference play, ranking seventh with 15.3 per game.
- Freshman Allyson Fertig is second on the team in scoring with 11.0 points per game while also grabbing a team-best 7.8 board per game. She has been named MW Freshman of the Week four times this year.
- Point guard Tommi Olson ranks third in the NCAA in assist-turnover ratio at 3.14.
- Nevada (15-8, 7-4) heads into the weekend coming off its second loss in its last six games. Before facing the Bulldogs, the Wolf Pack host second-place New Mexico.
- Nevada currently is a game up on Wyoming for third.
- The Wolf Pack rank as one of the top defensive teams in the league, holding opponents to 59.6 points per game overall (3rd) and 57.6 points in conference games (1st). They are also holding teams to 39.7 percent shooting in conference games.
- The Bulldogs may rank in the nation's Top 25 in free throw percentage, the Wolf Pack are at the top of the league, ranking eighth in the nation at 79.0 percent from the line.
- While Nevada ranks fourth in the conference in assist-turnover ratio, transfer point guard Kylie Jimenez sits first nationally in the category with a 3.65.
- Jimenez has helped the Wolf Pack commit just 12.5 turnover per game, 14th-best in the NCAA.
- De'Ja Hamilton is the Pack's top scorer at 13.0 points per game.
- UNLV (19-4, 11-1) sits atop the Mountain West standings, a half game ahead of New Mexico.
- The Lady Rebels have won their last nine games following a three-point loss at The Pit.
- UNLV has feasted in and around the paint this season, Â The Lady Rebels lead the MW In rebounding, collecting 41.3 rebounds per game, and hold an +8.1 margin which ranks No. 22 in the NCAA. They also have made the 19th-most free throws this year with 332.
- Strong inside has helped UNLV shoot 44.4 percent from the field which has translated into the second-highest scoring offense in the league at 75.4 points per game, 25th nationally.
- Preseason all-conference selection Desi-Rae Young leads the team in scoring (15.6 ppg) and rebound (8.2 rpg), sitting third and fourth in the MW respectively.
- Transfer Essence Booker is just behind Young at 15.4 points per game, fourth in the MW. She has nearly 30 more made free throws than any other player in the conference.
- Freshman Alyssa Durazo-Frescas ranks No. 21 in the NCAA in 3-point percentage(43.1).
UPDATED SAVE MART CENTER GAME DAY INFORMATION
- Based on public health guidelines, all Save Mart Center attendees must be fully vaccinated OR have obtained a negative COVID-19 test (persons 3 years and older).
- Masks will be required for all indoor areas. At the Save Mart Center, masks will be required at all times, with exception for when actively eating or drinking.
- For non-vaccinated guests 3 years or older, proof of a negative PCR test will be required within 2 days of the event ORÂ an antigen test within 1 day of the event.Â
- Guests will need to show the negative results of their tests, or show proof of full vaccination at one of the tents outside of the arena prior to entry.Â
