BULLDOG BONESÂ
ABOUT THE MATCHUPÂ
Fresno State and Nevada will meet for the 68th time in program history and since their first meeting in the 1983-84 campaign and will meet for the 31st time in Reno. Fresno State leads the all-time meetings 49-18 and all-time meetings in Reno, 18-12.Â

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTÂ
LAST TIME OUT FOR THE WOLFPACKÂ
Last time out the Wolfpack was in the first round of the Mountain West Tournament in Las Vegas. Both teams would push till the very end taking the game into overtime. Nevada would move on to the next round after securing a 64-53 win.Â
We will see the return of three starters from last season's tournament opener with Lexie Givens, Audrey Roden and Victoria Davis. The three combined recorded 25 points with Givens (13) putting up double-digits, Davis (8) and Roden (4.)Â
SISTERLY COMPETITION
Sophomore Mia Jacobs will see her older sister Claire Jacobs this Saturday. The two played together at LaSalle last season before both transferring. Luckily enough, they find themselves in the same conference ready for another match up. They once again find themselves back on the court, only this time for opposing teams. The last time the Jacobs' sisters saw each other on different teams was in their early years playing backyard pickup. At LaSalle all three Jacobs sisters would get to play together, youngest Mia with her two older twin sisters Amy and Claire.Â
BATTLE OF THE FRESHMANÂ
With both teams having a strong freshman player in the starting lineup, Saturday's matchup will be a freshman highlight. Both Fresno State's Taija Sta. Maria and Nevada's Izzy Sullivan have been tabbed as MW Freshman of the Week twice this season. So far, they are the only freshman to receive the honor more than once.Â
It will be a strong match up for the freshman this Saturday as Sullivan has been a strong shooter from the three with 13 3PFGM through five conference games (2.80 avg). Both players have also played at least five games recording double-digits.Â
