Prior to Fresno State: Attended Butte College in Oroville, Calif., for two seasons where he played left tackle for the Roadrunners ... team recorded a 17-6 overall mark in his two seasons, including a 10-2 mark in 2016 and won the Golden Valley Conference championship.
High School: Graduated from Durham High School in 2015 where he was a four-year letter winner for the Trojans and was named a captain as a senior helping lead the DHS to 27 wins in his four-year career.
Personal: Born in Chico, Calif. … son of Lisa and Damon Pound … has one brother Avery … former junior college teammate of Boise State’s Zach Troughton and Nevada’s Anthony Hankins … favorite athlete is Khalil Mack because of his physicality and for his love and dedication to the game … biggest athletic thrill was at Butte College and getting a double overtime win over rival team, American River College … is a communication major at Fresno State.
