2021 (FRESHMAN): All-MPSF defender … starting defender in all 14 games ... finished the season with six goals, four assists, 10 points, 26 ground balls, 21 draw controls, and eight caused turnovers … had a career-high two goals against San Diego State in the MPSF semifinal game (April 30) … scored her six goals on just 11 shots this season … was 2-of-3 in her free-position attempts … had at least one ground ball in all but two games this season … recorded a career-high four ground balls in two games - vs UC Davis (Feb. 14) and vs. then-No. 16 Stanford (Mar. 31) … had a career-high eight draw controls at Robert Morris (Feb. 23), the third-most in a game in program history … recorded a career-high three caused turnovers in the season opener at UC Davis (Feb. 14) … finished fourth on the team in ground balls … was third on the team in draw controls … finished No. 8 in the MPSF in draw controls and No. 9 in ground balls ... the first Bulldog freshman to earn a spot on the All-MPSF team who had not been named Rookie of the Year.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Campolindo High School ... was a part of a championship squad as a freshman ... two-time second team all-league defender ... defensive team MVP ... earned first team honors in one season ... was a scholar-athlete all four years ... was also a crucial member of the soccer team ... was a part of the National Charity League.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Tripper and Dagmar Ortman ... has one older sibling, Seppi ... favorite athlete is Jackie Robinson because he inspires her to not give up. He faced adversity everyday but he kept pushing and showed the world what he can do. He showed no matter the color of your skin, no matter your physical size, or your talent level if you push hard and want something you can make it happen ... biggest athletic thrill is when a team plays as one unit ... chose to attend Fresno State because she knew it was where she was supposed to be the moment she stepped onto campus ... is an intended environmental science major.
