Six Bulldogs place at the 2018 Roadrunner Open

Nine Bulldog wrestlers competed at the 2018 Roadrunner Open on Sunday hosted by Cal State Bakersfield at the Icardo Center with six finishing among the top six in their weight classes.
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Nine Bulldog wrestlers competed at the 2018 Roadrunner Open on Sunday hosted by Cal State Bakersfield at the Icardo Center with six finishing among the top six in their weight classes.
Redshirt junior Richie Brandt placed second at 197 pounds while teammates Danny Salas and Isaiah Perez finished third and fifth, respectively at that weight.
Freshman Lawrence Saenz battled back from dropping his first match to place third at 141 pounds while Jeremy Trinh at 125 pounds took fifth and Angel Solis at 184 pounds took sixth.
