2018-19 (Redshirt Freshman): Trinh went 7-11 overall as a redshirt freshman... claimed two wins by decision, two medical forfeits, one technical fall, one major decision and one fall.... went 0-3 in duals... recorded a 4-2 mark at the Roadrunner Open... competed against four 2019 NCAA Championship qualifiers, including Pat Glory (Princeton) who placed sixth, along with Sean Russell (Minnesota), Cole Verner (Wyoming) and Christian Moody (Oklahoma) ...
