Perez went 12-5 while competing unattached... competed in four tournaments... won the Bill Musick Open hosted by Fresno City College with a 8-2 win over Brian Horn (Sacramento City College)... placed fifth at the Roadrunner Open finishing 3-2 with a 9-0 major decision over Josh Loomer (CSUB)... tallied a 1-2 mark at the Reno Tournament of Champions... closed out the season at the California Collegiate Open with a third-place showing with a 3-2 win over Jarred Dixon (UN-OSU).... claimed five wins by decision, five major decisions, one technical fall and one fall.
