2019-20 (Freshman): Redshirted ... went 12-5 while competing unattached at both 157 & 165 pounds ... went 5-1 at 157 pounds and 7-4 at 165 pounds ... earned seven wins by decision, one major decision, one technical fall, two falls & one medical forfeit ... finished first at 165 lbs. at the Bill Muisck Open with a perfect 4-0 record and three falls ... went 3-2 at the Roadrunner Open at 165 lbs. with two decisions and a technical fall ... placed fifth at 157 pounds with a 5-1 record with four decisions and one major decision ... also competed at the Midlands Championships at 165 pounds.
High School: Olguin arrives at Fresno State as the No. 2 ranked 160-pounder in the nation by InterMat.... 44th-ranked recruit in the Class of 2019 by FloWrestling... fourth-ranked wrestler at 160 lbs. by FloWrestling... won the 160-pound weight class as a senior in 2019 at Buchanan High School in Clovis with a perfect 46-0 mark... placed third at 138 lbs. at the 2018 CIF State Tournament... finished third at 113 lbs. at the 2017 CIF State Tournament... also won the 106-pound weight class as a freshman in 2016... helped lead the Bears to four California State Championships as a team.
