After defeating Pac-12 foe Oregon State 27-13 on Thursday evening, the Bulldogs are back in Big 12 action against No. 11 Wyoming on Sunday at 12 p.m. at the Save Mart Center.

Scouting No. 11 Wyoming
The Cowboys are riding a eight-match winning streak entering Sunday's dual and are 12-3 overall and a 3-1 in Big 12 duals with wins over North Dakota State, Air Force and West Virginia and a loss at Oklahoma State.
Wyoming brings in eight ranked wrestlers in the NCAA Coaches rankings with 165-pound senior Branson Ashworth leading the way at No. 9 followed by redshirt sophomore Montorie Bridges, a 2018 All-American and 22-7 overall on the season, at No. 11 at 133 pounds.
Sam Turner (No. 17 at 141 lbs.), Cole Verner (No. 19 at 125 lbs.), Tate Samuelson (No. 20 at 184 lbs.), Cale Davidson (No. 20 at 197 pounds), Brian Andrews (No. 21 at 285 lbs.) and Hayden Hastings (No. 24 at 174 lbs.) are all ranked for the Cowboys as the 184-pound, 197 and heavyweight matches on Sunday will all feature ranked matchups.Â
Led by 2018 Big 12 Coach of the Year Mark Branch, Wyoming defeated the 'Dogs, 40-6 last year in Laramie with Olivas and Nevills picking up wins. Olivas topped Turner, 9-6 while Nevills edged since-departed Sam Eagan, 3-2. Bridges, Turner and Ashworth all wrestled in last year's dual against the Bulldogs.
Bulldogs in Big 12 action
The 'Dogs sit 3-3 in Big 12 duals after wins over Utah Valley and South Dakota State and only have two conference duals remaining with Sunday's contest against the Cowboys and a Feb. 17 home date with Oklahoma to close out the regular season.
Four 'Dogs in the national rankings
Four Bulldogs continue to find themselves in the national rankings as each were also in the first NCAA Coaches Panel rankings released on Jan. 24 that rank the top 33 wrestlers at each weight and will help determine who makes up the 2019 NCAA championship field at each weight.
Redshirt junior 149-pounder Khristian Olivas is as high as No. 12 by Trackwrestling and is No. 17 byInterMat, No. 18 by FloWrestling and No. 19 in the NCAA Coaches Panel rankings.
Jackson Hemauer checks in 25th in both the NCAA rankings and by Trackwrestling at 184 pounds while Josh Hokit is 13th by the NCAA, FloWrestling & InterMat and 14th by Trackwrestling.
Finally, AJ Nevills continues to be ranked at heavyweight checking in No. 20 by both Trackwrestling and the NCAA.

Prior to Thursday's 27-13 win over Oregon State, the 'Dogs last competed on Jan. 20 winning nine of 10 matches against Big 12 foe South Dakota State to win their first-ever conference home dual topping the Jackrabbits, 38-3.
The Bulldogs got bonus point wins by five wrestlers, including three falls by Robert Garcia IV, Chris Deloza and Olivas at 125, 141 and 149 pounds, respectively. Gary Joint and Hokit picked up major decisions at 133 and 197 pounds, respectively.
Bulldogs knock off No. 23 Utah Valley
Fresno State knocked off its first ranked opponent on Jan. 18 defeating then-No. 23 Utah Valley, 26-10 on the road winning seven of 10 matches against the Wolverines.
The Bulldogs got bonus point wins by Josh Hokit with a fall at 197 pounds and major decisions by Isaiah Hokit at 157 pounds, Joint at 133 pounds and Garcia IV at 125 pounds while Nevills, Olivas and Dominic Kincaid each won by decisionÂ
Hokit earns Bulldogs' first-ever Big 12 Wrestler of the Week honor on Jan. 14
Junior 197-pounder Josh Hokit earned Fresno State Wrestling's first-ever Big 12 Wrestler of the Week honor on Jan. 14 after defeating then-No. 4 ranked Willie Miklus of Iowa State, 4-2 on Jan. 13.
Hokit has gone on to defeat his next two opponents, then-No. 11 ranked Tanner Orndorff of Utah Valley on Jan. 18 with a fall in 6:38 and a 18-5 major decision over Martin Mueller, a 2018 NCAA Championship qualifer, of South Dakota State two days later.
On the season, Hokit is 15-3 overall and 4-0 in duals and enters this weekend on a five-match winning streak.

Pledges for pins is designed to help support the Fresno State Wrestling Program. Proceeds will benefit the Fresno State Wrestling Fund for Excellence along with a portion contributing to the Valley Regional Training Center -- a nonprofit organization that supports Fresno State Wrestling.
It works like this, for example, if you pledge $5 per pin and the team accumulates 40 pins during the season, your pledge will be $200. Throughout the season, pins and pledges will be recorded and a letter will be mailed with your pledge amount and payment information.
