2020-21 (Freshman): Went 1-6 at 197 pounds ... competed at the Big 12 Championship falling to No. 6 seed Marcus Coleman (Iowa State) and No. 5 seed Jake Woodley (Oklahoma) ... earned a win over Cole Forrester (Air Force) with a fall in 2:17 in an extra match against the Falcons ... saw action in three duals against NDSU, California Baptist and West Virginia.
High School: Villarreal was the No. 1 ranked prep heavyweight in California ... ranked in the top 15 nationally (Hwt.) ... three-time California Hwt. State Placer finishing second in 2020 & 2019 & sixth in 2018 ... NHSCA National Champion.
