Wrestling set to host Red vs. Blue Intrasquad Saturday

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State wrestling program will host the Red vs. Blue Intrasquad on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the South Gym. The event is free and open to the public.

Honorary Coaches
Two former Bulldog wrestlers will serve as honorary coaches on Saturday with former two-time All-American (1998 & 1999) Stan Greene serving as the Red head coach while Robbie Sordi will be at the helm of the Blue team.

Season Opener
The Bulldogs get the 2019-20 regular season underway in 10 days on Friday, Nov. 1 at the Battle on the Midway taking on No. 4 (FloWrestling) Wisconsin, Navy and No. 23 (FloWrestling) Army in San Diego.

California Coaches Seminar
Also this weekend, Fresno State Wrestling will host the 2019 California Coaches Seminar on Saturday and Sunday which will feature 2018 World Champion David Taylor, former USA National team coach Bruce Burnett, Jack Moses, Mike Moor and Jose Campo along with a tailgate before the Bulldogs' Homecoming game on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. against Colorado State.
