Valley RTC members & Bulldogs set to compete at Marine Corps U.S. Open

Four Valley Regional Training Center athletes and nine Bulldog wrestlers are set to compete at the 2019 Marine Corps U.S. Open in Las Vegas this weekend hosted at the South Point Arena.
FRESNO, Calif. - Four Valley Regional Training Center athletes and seven Bulldog wrestlers are set to compete at the 2019 Marine Corps U.S. Open in Las Vegas this weekend hosted at the South Point Arena.
Led by 2018 U.S. Open champion and Fresno State assistant coach Jason Chamberlain at 70 kg., the Valley RTC will also be represented in the senior men's freestyle competition by Joey Lavallee at 74 kg., Nikko Reyes at 92 kg. and Blaize Cabell at 97 kg.
Four current Bulldogs will also compete at the Senior Level with Chris Deloza (65 kg.) and AJ Nevills (125 kg.) recently completed their sophomore seasons as Bulldogs along with redshirt freshman Robert Garcia IV (57 kg.) and Jacob Wright (70 kg.)Â
In addition the senior level athletes, five current Bulldogs and two Bulldog signees will represent the Valley RTC in the UWW Junior Freestyle field.Â
Jeremy Trinh (61 kg.).and Jackson Hemauer (79 kg.) recently finished their redshirt freshman seasons while Lawrence Saenz (65 kg.), Adam Kemp (74 kg.) and Isaiah Perez (92 kg.) were all true freshman this past season who redshirted. November signees Jace Luchau and Ryan Reyes will compete at 70 kg. and 86 kg., respectively.
