Prior to Fresno State: Williams wrestled at Big 12 opponent Oklahoma from 2013-16... Oklahoma (2013-14): stepped into team lineup at 125 pounds following a knee injury to redshirt senior Jarrod Patterson … compiled a 7-13 overall record, including a 0-6 dual record … took second in freshman/sophomore division at 125 pounds at OCU Open … Also competed at Bethany Swede Open, Reno Tournament of Champions and Bixby Spartan College Open … Tallied six decisions a major decision on the season....Oklahoma (2014-15): Filled in at 133 pounds for the injured Cody Brewer for part of the season … Finished with a 7-17 overall record, including an 0-5 mark in dual competition … Placed fifth at 125 pounds at Brockport/Oklahoma Invitational, helping the Sooners to their 16th straight title at the event … Participated in the Aloha Open … Also competed at OCU Open … Two of his victories came via major decisions.... Oklahoma (2015-16): Wrestled at 133 pounds … Took fourth place at the OCU Open … Wrestled at the USA Oklahoma Outlaw Collegiate.
High School: Competed at Lemoore High School where he was a 3-time CIF State Qualifier and a 2013 CIF State Finalist finishing second at 113 lbs. ... also qualified for the CIF State Tournament as a sophomore at 106 lbs. in 2011 and at 113 lbs. in 2012... four-year letter winner for the Tigers and head coach & former Bulldog All-American wrestler Marcio Botelho... recorded a 44-7 record senior year defeating the No. 1-ranked wrestler in the nation … placed at the Walsh Iron Man Tournament.
