High School: Figueroa was a two-time CIF State Medalist at Bakersfield High School... earned fourth place at 126 pounds at the 2015 CIF State Tournament and finished sixth at 138 pounds at the 2017 CIF State Tournament... earned USAW Folkstyle Nationals Runner-Up in 2015... cracked the Flowrestling Top 10 checking in 9th nationally.
Personal: Son of Rosalle Estrada and Jose Figueroa... has an older brother, Danny Olivo and older sister, Reannen Figueroa... borth in Bakersfield on Feb. 6, 1999... nursing major at Fresno State.. chose to be a Bulldog since it is a great place.
Coach's comments: "JJ wrestles for the Drillers of Bakersfield High School. He is a strong competitor who will make things tough on his opponents. He is looking to go into the school of Nursing."
