2018-19 (Redshirt Junior): Brandt went 3-3 while competing at 197 pounds ... recorded a 3-1 mark at the Roadrunner Open earning three decisions.Â
2017-18 (Redshirt Sophomore): Brandt finished his first season as a 'Dog with a 8-16 overall record... went 7-10 at 197 pounds and 1-6 at 184 pounds... compiled a 3-9 record in dual meets, including a 1-4 mark in Big 12 dual meets... tallied four decisions, three major decisions and one fall... recorded his first pin as a Bulldog at the Reno Tournament of Champions over Ian Moroford of Pacific University at 197 lbs.... helped the Bulldogs clinch their first Big 12 dual victory at Northern Colorado (Jan. 26) with a 4-3 win over Tanner Davis in the final match of the dual at 197 lbs.... defeated Austin Flores of Stanford, 3-2 for his lone win of the season at 184 lbs.
Prior to Fresno State:Â Redshirted the 2015-16 season at Big 12 opponent Utah Valley ... compiled a 4-4 record while competing unattached at 197 pounds ... posted 2-2 showings at both the Cowboy Open and the Roadrunner Open...
High School: was a 2014 CIF State Finalist as a junior while competing at Liberty Madera Ranchos High School....Â

Coach Steiner's comments: "We found a big guy from Madera that transferred back home from Utah Valley University. We will look for him to help lead this team into action next fall. He is a powerful and explosive wrestler that will be a key piece of this puzzle and will look to take the 197-lb. slot."
