| Fresno State All-America shortstop Christina Clark (Santa Ana, Calif.) was named Western gobulldogs.com Player of the Week for the second time in the last four weeks for her efforts during last weekend's Hawaii series. The sophomore had a brilliant weekend offensively for the Bulldogs as she helped the team to a 3-1 record at Hawaii while padding Fresno State's first-place lead to three games. Batting .500 (7-14) with seven runs, five home runs, two walks, seven RBI and 22 total bases for a 1.571 slugging percentage, she established five single-game and/or single-season records last weekend in Honolulu. With a current four-game hitting streak, she has hit safely in 13 of last 14 and is batting .373 (19-51) with 16 runs, a double, eight home runs, six walks, two hit by pitch, 15 RBI and 44 total bases for an .863 slugging percentage. | ||
