2022 (SENIOR): Utilized the additional year of eligibility approved by the NCAA in the fall of 2020. The NCAA approved a blanket waiver for all 2020 fall sports student-athletes to retain a year of eligibility due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2021 (SENIOR): Appeared in three games … played against UConn (Aug. 28), Cal Poly (Sept. 11) and San Jose State (Nov. 25).
PRIOR TO FRESNO STATE: Spent four seasons at New Mexico State … (2020) Season postponed to the spring of 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic … (2019) Played in 11 games, making starts in all contests he played in ... Blocked for a unit that surpassed 300 yards of total offense nine times and rushed for 200+ yards on three occasions ... Helped shore up the Aggie offensive attack, which averaged 217.6 passing yards per game and 143.5 rushing yards per game … (2018) Did not play in any games … (2017) Did not play in any games.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Mayfield High School in Las Cruces, New Mexico … was a first team All-District defensive lineman and tight end … also played basketball … earned the Crimson Scholarship for academic success.
PERSONAL: From Las Cruces, New Mexico … son of Lorynn Guerrero … has one younger sibling - Jarod … hobbies include video games and working on cars … favorite athletes are Quenton Nelson and Jason Peters … biggest athletic thrill is the winning the Arizona Bowl in 2017 … chose to attend Fresno State because he felt like it was a family and it was the best fit for him … working towards his master’s in curriculum and instruction at Fresno State.
