'Dogs in Big 12 action
The 'Dogs are 7-9 in dual meet action in three seasons in the Big 12 after recording a pair of wins to start the season defeating Utah Valley, 24-19 on Jan. 2 and topping Northern Colorado, 25-15 on Nov. 30 in their Big 12 opener. Fresno State went 4-4 in 2018-19 and 1-5 in 2017-18 and is 4-4 overall in home Big 12 duals.
Bulldogs against Pac-12 foes
Fresno State will face its second of two Pac-12 opponents on Sunday in CSU Bakersfield. The 'Dogs are 4-5 against Pac-12 foes over the last three seasons defeating Cal Poly, 24-16 on Jan. 2 with a 2-2 mark in 2018-19 with wins over Cal Poly and Oregon State and went 1-3 in 2017-18 earning a win over Cal Poly.
Senior Day - The 'Dogs will honor their five seniors prior to Sunday's dual. Here is a quick look at each of the 'Dogs career at Fresno State.
The Bulldogs overcame an opening round loss to Maryland to defeat Duke, 50-0 before topping Old Dominion, 20-15 and Kent State, 16-15 to place third in the field on Jan. 11. Lloren, Cruz and Hokit all went 4-0 in the tournament as Hokit used a 13-3 major decision over Kent State's Spencer Berthold to complete the comeback win over the Golden Flashes.
Wright earns Big 12 Co-Wrestler of the Week
For the second time in program history, Fresno State Wrestling had a Big 12 Wrestler of the Week after Wright was named the Big 12 Co-Wrestler of the Week on Nov. 5 after going 3-0 at the AFC Duals/Battle on the Midway on Nov. 1 in San Diego.

Fresno State heads out on the road for a pair of Big 12 duals next week traveling to Wyoming (6-7, 3-1 B12) on Feb. 6 and North Dakota State (4-3, 1-1 B12) on Feb, 8.
Pledge for Pins
Pledges for pins is designed to help support the Fresno State Wrestling Program. Proceeds will benefit the Fresno State Wrestling Fund for Excellence along with a portion contributing to the Valley Regional Training Center -- a nonprofit organization that supports Fresno State Wrestling.
It works like this, for example, if you pledge $5 per pin and the team accumulates 40 pins during the season, your pledge will be $200. Throughout the season, pins and pledges will be recorded and a letter will be mailed with your pledge amount and payment information.

Bronze - $11-20
Silver - $21-49
Gold - $50 & Up

Scouting Air Force
- Air Force leads the all-time series over the Bulldogs, 2-1.
- The Falcons are 2-3 on the year and 0-2 in Big 12 duals falling to Wyoming (21-12) and Northern Iowa (28-12). AF travels to Utah Valley on Thursday before coming to Fresno.
- Air Force is coming off a second-place finish at the All Academy Championships last weekend falling one point shy of Navy who claimed the top spot.
- Two Air Force wrestlers appeared in the first NCAA Coaches' panel rankings with Sidney Flores checking in No. 23 at 125 pounds and Randi Meneweather ranking No. 28 at 165 lbs.
- The will be the Falcons' first trip to Fresno as two of the previous meetings have come in Colorado Springs and one came in San Diego at the inaugural Battle on the Midway in 2017.
- CSU Bakersfield leads the all-time series, 17-11.
- The Roadrunners are 3-4 in duals with a 1-3 mark on the road.
- CSUB is 1-2 against Big 12 opponents falling to North Dakota State (24-9) and Wyoming (34-3), but is coming off a 20-16 win at Northern Colorado last Sunday.
