Fresno State will honor 17 seniors who have exhausted their eligibility - Nick Abbs, Alex Akingbulu, Kevin Atkins, DaRon Bland, Ryan Boehm, Jason Diaz Jr., Kenny Gagnon, Kwami Jones, Tyson Maeva, Arron Mosby, Deonte Perry, Ronnie Rivers, Juan Rodriguez, Cesar Silva, Matt Smith, Jacob Westberry and Keric Wheatfall.

- Fresno State Athletics is celebrating its centennial year and the 2021 football season is the 100th season of competition in program history.
- New Mexico is 3-6 (1-4 MW) this season, coming off a loss to UNLV.
- Saturday's game will be the 19th meeting all-time between the Bulldogs and Lobos. The 'Dogs currently lead the series 13-5. The 'Dogs have won 10 out of the last 12 meetings.
- Fresno State will honor 17 seniors this weekend, all of which have exhausted their collegiate eligibility.
- Fresno State prepares to play back-to-back home games for the first time this season.
- Fresno State junior wide receiver Erik Brooks has been named a Burlsworth Trophy nominee, the organization announced Nov. 2.
- Fresno State's 2021 team captains are quarterback Jake Haener, running back Ronnie Rivers, defensive end David Perales and linebacker Tyson Maeva.
- With a win against Nevada on Oct. 23, Fresno State became bowl eligible for the first time since 2018.
- Whether it be transfers or true freshmen, Fresno State has seen a handful of fresh faces see their first taste of Bulldog game action through the first 10 games this season. Twenty seven first-year 'Dogs have played in at least one game on the year.
- The Bulldogs have made quick work on the offensive scoring drives, having 10 touchdown scoring drives this season that have been scored in less than 1:00.
- Fresno State's top two receivers hail from the Central Valley. Jalen Cropper and Josh Kelly have paced the team and the stacked wide receiver room all season long.
- With 79 yards rushing against Nevada, Rivers made the jump to third in Fresno State history with 3,281 career rushing yards. Rivers slightly surpassed Ryan Mathews on the list, who left Fresno State with 3,280. Robbie Rouse (4,647)and Ron Rivers (3,473) are the only former Bulldogs ahead of him.
- Haener has passed for 3,167 yards and 25 touchdowns so far this season. Haener became the seventh Bulldog to have a 3,000-yard passing season in the history of the season - he joins Kevin Sweeney (1984), Trent Dilfer (1992, 1993), David Carr (2001), Paul Pinegar (2005), Derek Carr (2011, 2021, 2013) and Marcus McMaryion (2018).
- QB Jake Haener has 10 career 300-yard passing games, in just 15 career games. The senior passed Kevin Sweeney (1983-86) on the all-time list and is tied for third in program history with 10 300-yard passing games in a career.
- Fresno State is No. 5 in the FBS in fumbles recovered this season (10). The Bulldogs have recovered at least one fumble in all but one game on the year, with a season-best two at then-No. 13 UCLA.
- Fresno State's nine interceptions is its most since 2019 when the 'Dogs had 11. The Bulldogs' streak of four-straight games with an interception is the longest streak since Fresno State had at least one in eight games in 2018.
